Thank You

photo from todayiamblessed.com
Thank you Lord. For the sweet love, for the care, for your forgiveness, for your provision, for the safety,  for being patient with me, for picking me up when I did not know how to get myself up, for giving me grace even if I did not ask for it, and even if I've disappointed you a thousand times, you remain the same.

How great is your love. Praises to you forever and ever. My King, my savior, my Lord, my Helper, and my friend.

Memory Verse:
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 150:6

Vanity of Pleasure and Wealth

photo from www.thegospelcoalition.org
I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine...
I built me houses; I planted me vineyards
I made me gardens and orchards...
I made me pools of water...
I got me servants and maidens...
...I had great possessions...
I gathered me also silver and gold...
So I was great...

And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.
Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, ALL WAS VANITY...

-Words of King Solomon (Ecclesiastes Chapter2)

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

And you say only God can judge you, but will you be ready when he does?

Miyerkules, Hulyo 15, 2015

Every single day was designed to be lived in fullness.

Why are we so afraid of waiting, so fearful of taking time - of allowing days to be completed, and months to run into years. Why are we so hell bent on getting to what’s next, what’s coming, what’s ahead - instead of embracing what’s right in front of us? Why are we so caught up in chasing what we could have, instead of appreciating what is ours?

We long for relationships, for marriage, for the next best thing - for someone to look at us and say their I do’s and their forevers. We smash down doors that are locked for our own protection, self preservation and preparation, all for the mere desire to get ahead, to win the race, to score the prize. We put tomorrow on a pedestal and leave today in the dirt - forgetting that today was once our tomorrow and our tomorrow will soon be our today, meaning every day becomes lost.

When did we decide that this very moment was insufficient to be celebrated? When did we conclude that todays purpose was to yearn for tomorrow? When did we decide that royalty is no longer something we believe we are, but merely something we see on television? What happened to us? We used to dream in vivid colours - colours so bright that the world could not deny we lived for something greater. Yet here we are, chasing partnership like our lungs chase oxygen, forgetting all the while that time was designed for a purpose greater than to describe the distance between one point of life to another. It was designed to be lived in fullness. Designed not to be rushed nor dragged, but to be embraced and experienced. We need to live in the potential of today, rather than the possibility of tomorrow. Dream for bigger things by all means, little dreamer… But do not rush today, don’t lose face. Here, now - it holds beauty for you too. Give time the chance it deserves. Thanks to:#jacintanest #littlekinta

Memory Verse:
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

A Christian

Verse:
"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again..." Proverbs 24:16

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Miyerkules, Mayo 13, 2015

Keep your eyes on Jesus

What are you looking at today? Not in the natural, but with your spiritual eyes. Are you facing challenges? Don’t just look at your problems day in and day out. Lift up your eyes and look toward heaven.

In the natural, you will move in the direction that your eyes are looking. The same is true in the spiritual realm. If you are always looking at your problems—meditating on them, feeling sorry for yourself, telling everybody about them — you will become consumed by them. But when you look up, your life will start to move up.

When you keep your eyes on Jesus, it is a sign of your faith and expectancy. Faith is what gets God's attention. When you have an attitude of faith and expectancy, you open the door for his power in your life. Today, lift up your eyes and your heart and rise up into victorious life He has prepared for you.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When I say I am a Christian, I don't speak of this with pride. I am confessing that I stumble and I need Christ to be my guide.

When I say I am a Christian, I am not shouting that I am "Clean living".
I am whispering, "I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say I am a Christian, I do not speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say I am a Christian, I am not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say I am a Christian, I am not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and I need God to clean my mess.

When I say I am a Christian, I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon HIS name.

When I say I am a Christian, I am not holier than thou.
I am just a sinner who received God's good grace somehow.

You say only God can judge you, but will you be ready when he does?

...there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (I Timothy 2:5-6)

...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:15)

Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out... (Acts 3:19)

...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved... (Acts 16:31)

...as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name... (John 1:12)

We have heard the joyful sound:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Spread the tidings all around:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Bear the news to every land,
Climb the mountains, cross the waves;
Onward! ’tis our Lord’s command;
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

May my all be for the Lord.

God does not deserve 1 year. My whole lifetime isn't even enough. For he owns me; everything I have, and everything I can do.

2015 New Year Wish

You can laugh all day, tell jokes with friends, and have party all night, but true happiness comes when your heart is right; right with your friends, your family, your love, and most of all, right with God.

If there's a being that keeps me fall in love over and over again, that's my Lord Jesus. He  melts my heart with his kindness, and amazes me with his overflowing grace.

This year, there is nothing more I want than to get closer to my Lord and savior.

What about you?

Memory Verses:

King James Version
James 4:8
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. "

Are you single? It's not about finding THE ONE. It's about preparing to be THE ONE.

You might be wishing to finally meet THE ONE that could make you smile, flutter your heart and make you feel complete.

But hey! Do not stress yourself over it. Thinking too much won't do good.

Remember:
When you get married, you're married for the rest of your life. So why not enjoy yourself being single now while you can? What's wrong with people is that they usually fail to enjoy every little detail of where they are. They do focus on where they aren't.

Singles, listen. Let's remember our First Love who is Jesus. Until we give our whole heart to the One who created it, we would be merely looking for someone who is also imperfect and incomplete to love us.

Girls, you don't need a guy for you to feel loved. YOU ARE LOVED ALREADY. A man died for you 2000 years ago.

You don't need somebody to tell you are beautiful. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You don't need someone to make you whole. YOU'RE MADE WHOLE ALREADY. God made you just. Jesus redeemed you and bought you with a price.

Only when you go back to your First Love will you be ready for a love story that reflects God's glory.

Now, live great for your King and Savior. Live for your Father which is in heaven. Do not be a woman who needs a man. Be a woman a man needs.

Serve the Lord. Go to Church. Have time with Christian Friends. Do Soulwinning! Make new friends and bring them to the Lord. Be a good influence.

Life is so short. One day you'll go home to heaven. And isn't it amazing to look back and see how God's grace made you able to do wonderful things for him? #pricelessjoy

To my Friends: I Love You Guys

"Surround yourself with people who make you happy.
People who make you laugh; who help you when you're in need.
People who would never take advantage of you.
People who genuinely care.
They are the ones worth keeping."

"God gives one more chance."

So often when people make mistakes, they get down on themselves and think, “If only…” “I should have…” “What if…?” It’s easy to feel like you’ve missed the best plan for your life. That’s when people get discouraged and stop pursuing their God-given dreams. But understand today, just because you’ve made a mistake or failed in some way doesn’t cancel God’s plan. God never disqualifies you. He never says, “Go sit on the sidelines. You’ve blown it too many times. You’ve got too many weaknesses.” No, God always gives you another chance!

Some of the great people in the Bible made very poor choices. The apostle Paul started off as a murderer, yet his destiny was bigger than his mistakes. He ended up becoming a great leader and writing over half of the New Testament.

What am I saying? Our mistakes, our failures, our poor choices don’t have to keep us from our God-given destiny. With God, it’s not about the way you start in life, it’s about the way you finish. Receive His grace today and embrace the bright future He has in store for you!

A Prayer For Today

         Lord,

I am the weakest person. I am an earthen vessel: unclean,        worthless, and filthy.  But no matter what happens, I'll never stop pursuing you.I'll never stop trying to get closer to you.

Nothing else I want to be -- but to be worthy of you; your grace, your love, and your mercy; to be called one day: a faithful servant.

Lord Jesus, this I pray. Help me.

 Psalms 143:8

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

A Christ-centered Friendship

I met her last May 2014.

She was once a stranger to me,
but became a friend later...became a good friend...a very good friend, then like a sister.

I praise the Lord for giving me the chance to meet this tough yet sweet and faithful lady.

She's the kind of friend who forgets time, sleeplessness, and hectic schedule just to be there with you when you need.

Now, she's officially my sister in Christ!

Welcome to the church family Carren! Welcome to MIBC!

I do hope and pray for your spiritual growth. Feeling excited to see you winning souls soon!

Praying for you always,

Matthew 28:19

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Holy Ghost:"

Matthew 5:16

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

We draw people to Christ not by loudly discrediting what

they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how

right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely

that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it.

"Christian, dare NOT to look down on anybody."

2 Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

"Patience"

Are you believing God for something that is taking longer than you thought or expected? If you are praying according to His promises, no matter how long you may have been standing, don’t give up! Your season is coming. Your harvest of blessing is on its way. It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or next year; but remember, at the right time you will experience your breakthrough. Be encouraged today because God is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep standing, keep hoping, keep believing. Keep doing good. Keep declaring the promises of God over your life. Choose to be around people who are going to encourage you and fill your heart and mind with God’s Word. Let a song of praise come out of your mouth. As you continue to press on in faith and keep an attitude of victory, you will see your harvest of blessing and live as an overcomer in every area of your life.

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, they shall walk, and not faint.

TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS

If you don't see the greatness of God,
then all the things money can buy become very exciting.

If you can't see the sun,
you will be impressed with the streetlights.

If you've never felt thunder and lightning,
you'll be impressed with fireworks.

And if you turn your back from the greatness and majesty of God, you'll fall in love with the world of shadows and short-lived pleasures.
-John Piper

The bible says:
"...but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:11

Therefore, LET'S LIVE CHRISTLIKE!

Praying for our spiritual growth,
And together, let's ask for HIS grace and mercy to be able to live a life pleasing in HIS sight continually.

GOD BLESS

How can a loving and merciful God also be a consuming fire that destroys?

God's holiness is the reason for His being a consuming fire, and it burns up anything unholy.
The holiness of God is that part of His nature that most separates Him from sinful man.

Isaiah wrote, " Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?
Isaiah answered this by saying that only righteous can withstand the consuming fire of God's wrath
against sin,
because sin is an offense to God's holiness. But Isaiah also assures us that no amount of our own righteousness is sufficient. (Isaiah 64:6)

Fortunately, God has provided the righteousness we need by sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins of all who would ever believe in Him. In that one act, Christ mitigates God's wrath, exchanging His perfect righteousness for our sin."
2 Corinthians 5:21(KJV) For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

All the wrath of God was poured out on Jesus, so that those who belong to Him would not have to suffer the same fate as the Assyrians. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God"(Hebrews 10:31) but, we need not to fear the consuming fire of God's wrath if we are covered by the purifying blood of Christ.

LOVE LETTER

      I pushed- you pulled.
I wept- you embraced.
I bled-you repaired.
I faltered- you shushed.

I was a disaster---
the worst of its kind.

And yet,
You let me know I'm loved.

Thank you for your great love Lord.
No one could ever measure how gracious you are.
And I am forever grateful to be called-- your daughter.
May you accept my little service and praise.

It's all by the GRACE OF GOD.

For it is by grace that I live; reminding me always that even the chance to breath, the opportunity of being alive, the privilege of enjoying all the blessings and the honor to serve God, are indeed, HIS abundant grace for me. Thus, with a joyful heart: I bless, because HE has blessed me. I love, because HE first loved me.

The "I" in me.

I have always been thinking what would I blog about in this first month of 2014.

I have researched some master pieces of famous writers to get some great ideas for my next blog that is inspirational and spirit defying on random topics about love, life, experience, success, failures, service, and spiritual life.
But I've come to realize:
This is my blog.
It's personal.
Yes, I'm wanting to inspire people but I also want to be true. And as a blogger, I want to be transparent. I want to show what's inside of me. And I want to give God the first of everything.

I always have the desire to encourage the mass, the Christians, and young ladies in their pursue to follow God and his will, letting them know I'm one of them.
Just like everybody else, I had ups and downs in 2013. I got blessings and also had some heartaches.
And this year, what I'm trying to build is commitment and dedication. I had wasted so much time  but now not anymore. For we ought to make the most of every opportunity and every chance to spread the good news and do our duties as the bible says: "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

I presume we have a good start this year and may we all be able to take hold onto what is in our hearts and glorify God in our daily living with His will on top of our priorities.

I pray God to bless us all and give us more grace to press on.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

10 Things I've learned on issues of life

1.You can never rely on someone to be always ready to help you.

2.
You can never trust anybody to save you. If they will, then good. But never be confident to anybody. You have to work by your own.
(and of course, except God, Because it's HIM who always makes a way)

3.
Never believe on someone's promises. It's better not to believe them, than believe them and get hurt.

4.
Don't expect anything from someone, you will only get disappointed.

5.
Know that all people around you are not perfect. They would fail you, offend you, and hurt you. (even the closest person in your life)

6.
But no matter how many times they fail you, you should not get tired of forgiving them.

7.
And if possible, always let love and goodness abound. (It's always possible. It's just a matter of mind set)

8.It's normal to get angry, but never grow any grudge in your heart. It won't do any good to you.

9. In every situation, learn to listen. No matter how reasonable it is for you get angry, still learn to listen. There's always an explanation for everything.

10.
Help yourself to be happy. Like what they say, "Life is too short to spend it in despair."

And Happiness is very much like success. You have to work hard for it. Since life is full of negatives, happiness won't just come to your way all of a sudden. Except for some times.

Last thing, walk with God in the journey. Make HIM your guide in every step of the way. And Priotize things that matter to HIM :) :)

Good luck! Wish you a good life!

For our beloved PASTOR WENNY BIERNESA

There is a sacredness in tears.

They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.

They speak more eloquently than ten
thousand tongues.

They are messengers of overwhelming grief...
 and unspeakable love.
 -Washington Irving

At 3am today, December 2, 2013,
Our beloved pastor and father PASTOR WENNY BIERNESA passed away . It was a great sorrow to all his family and church but deep in our hearts is a little  calmness and joy knowing that he's nowhere else but in God's loving care in heaven. He's a great man of God.
-He is a  man who is firm in doctrine, and never did compromise sins.
-A man whose heart longs for the salvation of souls.
-A man whose thought is for God's glory alone.

We might not see him again, but we'll always remember him.
We might couldn't hear him again, but we'll always remember his teachings.
He's maybe gone, but He will always stay in our hearts.

May the Lord be praised and glorified forever and ever. Amen.

Huwebes, Nobyembre 21, 2013

If you die today, are you 100% sure that you would go to heaven?

People are in different classes. Some are rich, some are poor. Some are popular, some are bullied. Some are luxurious, others are simple. But we all have one thing in common. We have souls and we all gonna die. And what would matter in the end is where our soul would go.The bible is telling us: There are only two destinations: Heaven and Hell
And of course people want to go to heaven!

But the question is: How to get there?
Others say, by doing good works.

Doing good works won't bring us to heaven!!!
And normally, people would say: "Well, I am not so bad. Though I seldom go to church but I'm not a murderer.I don't steal. I even help others sometimes. I have donated to the needy. Yes, I've committed sins but I'm not really that bad to go to hell. So maybe there's a chance that I can go to heaven."

CHANCE! There's a chance but not assurance. This kind of person is just hoping a little but one is not saved by just hoping especially in a wrong hope; he is saved by trusting.

There is no way we can earn Heaven. Titus 3:5 says,
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us!” And Ephesians 2:8,9 plainly states, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast!

Moreover, let's remember that  Heaven is holy. And we commit sins from time to time.Even the bible describes us as:

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6King James Version (KJV)

How then could our GOOD WORKS bring us to heaven when we are all just an unclean thing?

The answer is : No way! Never possible!

And this would lead us to another question:

Is there no place for good works in the Christian life?
To be sure there is. Ephesians 2:10 says,“We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works!” Once we are saved, God expects us to serve Him, to perform good works; but we don’t do it to be saved or to earn Heaven; we do it because we love Him and want to serve Him.

One must remember that over and over the Scriptures make it plain that one is saved by grace through faith.

John 3:36 says,

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.”It says nothing about doing good works. John 3:18 says, “He that believeth on
him is not condemned.” It says nothing about good works.. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” It says nothing about doing good works. John 5:24 says,“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life!” It says nothing good works.

We could make a long list of passages which state we are saved by simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, trusting Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Jesus Christ, Is our only SURE WAY to heaven!

When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas,“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” they answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” “Believe” means to depend on, to rely on, to trust. We must trust Jesus Christ to take us to Heaven.

Trusting Jesus Christ means :
I come to Christ admitting that I’m a sinner and admitting that I should pay for my sins. It means I believe the Bible story that Jesus loved me, and that 2,000 years ago He died for me on the cross to pay my sin debt. Then I put my case in His hands. I fully depend on Him 100% to take me to Heaven when I die. My only hope of Heaven is the fact that Jesus Christ died for me, and I am trusting Him to take me to Heaven when I die. I want no other hope. I need no other hope.

Dear friend, which group are you in? Are you trusting Jesus  Christ? Is He your only hope of Heaven? If not, I urge you to trust Him now.

Pray this simple prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner. I do believe
that You died for me. Here and
now, the best I know how, I do trust You as my Savior. I am fully depending on You to
take me to Heaven when I die. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer and would email me, I'd be so glad and happy for you.
